September 14, 2009 - BETTER TO DARE MIGHTY THINGS

I am simply going to type one of my favorite poems for those who have not heard it before:

FAR BETTER IT IS TO DARE MIGHTY THINGS

To win glorious triumphs,
Even though checkered with failure,
Than to take rank with those poor spirits,
Who neither enjoy much nor suffer much,
Because they live in the grey twilights
That know no victory nor defeat.

    I have always admired you as a person of daring! Look, for example, how you undertook getting a nursing degree late in life, then writing novels. You inspire me. Ruth
